IT Mentors and Principals Accessing Technology (IMPACT) program
brings technology experts together with principals of Chicago's public schools to support their efforts to create a technology environment that meets the educational and administrative needs of their schools.
The goal of this program is to help create completed, state-approved technology plans for participating school that will enable the schools to receive governmental funding and improve use of technology, overall management, and educational service. Mentors will act as volunteer consultants for principals, advising them based on assessments of technology needs.
